Utica Community Daycare

Utica Community Daycare is another of our clients. This is a small website, primarily designed to advertise the daycare to new parents, as well as attract new parents to the daycare.

Our goal with this site was to make an attractive, easy to update site, and to do it quickly. All told, I think we spent about 8 hours on the design and development of this site (I really need to start tracking my time better). The green on the page came from the great little tree graphic that they use as a logo. I'm not sure where it came from, but I think it's fantastic. The background colour came out of nowhere - I was playing with the colour wheel, and Andrea pointed out the one I should use.

It got quick buy-in from the daycare Board of Directors - they didn't have a single change. We are doing very little marketing on this project. We hope to get it up on local search for the surrounding communities, but considering the market they are in, there's no need for an extensive marketing campaign. There's just not a whole lot of competition.
